PIECES OF GOD

 

Everywhere I go

there are little pieces of God,

by gathering them together,

perhaps, I will see

the whole picture,

or at least,

like a puzzle partially

completed,

a rough outline will appear,

and I, with a little patience,

can imagine the rest.

In my opinion, a key to a viable spiritual

quest requires the tenacity to find our own

unique perspective of God, which, in the

end may sync with a traditional concept,

or be something altogether distinctly

different, as indicated by the note below

titled, The Origin.

 

This Meditation Note is the answer to

my direct question, during meditation,

regarding the origin of God. Now, this

response may be impacted by an idea

I have been considering, or better put,

fixating on lately  – what if God conscious-

ness was not the originator of all existence,

but evolved out of the very consciousness

of all existence - formed out of evolving life

itself. What if God, is basically, all existing

consciousness - plus, all awareness - plus,

everything awake - plus.  

 

THE ORIGIN

 

I want to say - look beyond the horizons

and into the life, breath, and pulse of man.

 

Here, within, exists the beat of a living God,

the anointed desires of all existence, made

manifest by a single intention: this sliver

of purpose formed from a consciousness

combined to be something more than the

sum of its parts; a primal force realizing

random exist0rs would not transmit a

greater destiny than mere being.

 

Here is the transcendence into an organized

being, a conscious entity formed and fed

from the totality of each thought, sense,

feeling, aliveness, and in turn, growing its

beingness, reaching out to foster the well-

being of all nature, striving to navigate

the parts towards a more viable, pertinent,

and self-sustaining existence.

 

Here is the origin of everything awake.

Morphic Resonance – the principle theoretical

concept and hypothesis of renown British

biologist Rupert Sheldrake, Ph.D.: who posited

that memory is inherent in all of nature;

with natural systems, such as termite colonies,

or orchid plants, or apple trees, or insulin

molecules, or humanity as a whole, inheriting

a collective memory from all previous entities

of their related system; available and usable

as a guide to enhance growth and development.

 

The establishment of our personal, individual

existence, before or after this earthly life,

has been a point of much speculation and

conjecture.  As with all things spiritual,

we tend to layer myth, wishful thinking,

and hopeful clairvoyance to come to our belief,

whether individually, or as an adherent

of a specific religious perspective.

 

As a true believer in the traditional view

of heaven, my wife Ann shudders when

I talk this way. Even so, I feel it is essential

that we not just except a standard answer

without questioning its veracity, at least as

it relates to our spiritual perspective.

 

My guidance, like the featured note, has

repeatedly pointed to not only an afterlife,

but a before–life, with this all too brief

time in between, a place of fostered growth,

an incubator of sorts where our joint

experiences are folded back into conscious-

ness, to be shared with those who are still

in the process of living.

 

It is not my purpose to dispel or disclaim

your vision of the afterlife, only

to stimulate productive speculation for

those inclined, who, like me, may find

themselves closer to the after part than

the before.

 

FOSTERED GROWTH

 

What exists beyond life, existed before life,

the presence, the essence, established as

fact and form, inhabiting all time frames,

all sequences presented as the possibility

to be engaged, offered for evolvement,

for enhancement, for becoming, in what

we conceive of as tangible life, to be allowed

fostered growth, creative blossoming,

experiential stretching; able to ascend

or pretend, or descend as occasioned,

and with this existential opportunity

a platform for emotional connection,

the extension for singular into plural

existence, forming a web of connection;

life integrated and tied together, using

free will to push the boundaries of possibility –

to grow life – establish potential, and

when fully exercised, to take this learning,

this insight, returning to where it originated,

to lasting consciousness, to share in morphic

resonance as needed, with all life becoming.

I do believe we each are vibrational beings -

our every thought and action reverberating

through the cosmos, all 7 billion plus of us here

on earth, and who knows how many exist

beyond our limited horizon. 

 

My principal purpose, as I hopefully under-

stand it, is to communicate this message

I have recorded in inspired notes and

guidance, attempting to listen to a faint

voice and hurriedly jot down what I hear.

 

Often, I think it would be more meaningful,

at least more sensible, if I were just expressing

my own vision. Instead, like you, I must attempt

to decipher the meaning.

 

Sometimes there are themes that surface –

for example, yesterday I posted a note titled

Eden’s Garden.  So as I began screening my

unpublished notes today, I thought wish-

fully, that it would be great if I found a

note as meaningful, at least to me, as

yesterday’s Eden’s Garden.

 

The next note I selected from the pile of

eligible prospects was recorded in 2011,

a full year before Eden’s Garden, the note

expresses that our spiritual lives provide

the soil to grow our Garden Of Eden,

described as our Heaven On Earth.

 

Could it be that our spiritual Garden

of Eden is not a place where we fall from

grace, but of salvation instead, the place

where through our directed actions,  

we bring the divine to life on earth,

by actually, growing Eden.

 

GROWING EDEN

 

Our value in this life is not revealed

    by what we do, but truly, by what we feel –

the measure of love we share with the world

    through our pursuit of passion, of meaning,

the compassionate footsteps we make

    in the sands of existence.

 

Our value in this life is our work

    of art, our creation – a vibration of such

force it resonates throughout eternity –

    awakening souls and making God smile –

a masterpiece in motion – calling us to apply

    bold strokes with vibrant colors.

 

Our value in this life is what we preview

    for eternity – providing the soil to grow

our Garden of Eden – our heaven on earth –

          our joyful noise to all creation –

                     so let’s sing loudly.

No fear is strong enough to overcome

            you – no doubt ponderous enough

to cause you confusion – no worry

            worthy enough to steal your time –

for you have the power to clear your

            mind, redirect its fretful muse,

enabling it to dwell on the bounty,

            rather than the false scarcity.

 

Tap the power within you to envision,

            to imagine the harvest of your dreams –

lush, ripe, so full, so plentiful it

            would take an infinity to reap –

an eternity to devour.

 

Use your tools of faith, belief,

            and trust to clear the weeds,

trim the bush, and at the proper time

            allow your creation to bloom –

Eden’s garden, fragrant and

            potent with prosperity.

prevail – prove more powerful than

opposing forces; be victorious.

 

Determination, I believe, is the creative force

of our human existence: the ability to prevail,

to prove more powerful than the opposing forces –

be they fate, nature, lethargy, inner self-doubt,

fear, the opposition of others – well meaning or

just plain malicious.

 

I don’t really believe in, or give much credence to,

purposeful supernatural negative forces, such as

a devil, but I do believe in counter forces, that

every action, positive or negative, is often met

with an opposing action, as life itself resists

change and adaptation.

 

We, humankind, are the rare natural agents

for change and creation within current existence,

other than entropy, which is built into the natural

system.

 

So, how do we prevail? The note below suggests it is

with persistence, with our sights fixed on the goal -

this goal fully imagined and shaped in our thinking,

then held in thought with belief until it, through our

efforts or otherwise, attracts and creates and forms

its likeness.  

  

PERSISTENCE WILL PREVAIL

 

The waves of life at times may pound us,

disrupting our forward progress, thwarting

our planned momentum, yet if we persist

to venture onward with our sights fixed on

the goal – refusing to give up or give in –

persistence will prevail.

 

A thought held firm and not relinquished,

will outlast even a steady torrent of ill

fortune: if believed and held as truth

in prayer – so let us tend and grow

our strong intentions - sure in our

convictions.

 

All that is sure and worthy – our hopes,

dreams and pursuits may find their

form in our imaginings, shaped in our

thinking - held true in our believing,

attracted by our creating – until even

the winds of outrageous fortune fail

to impede our steady endeavors.

VISION OF WHOLENESS

 

Healing begins in the mind with a vision

of wholeness, a recollection, a remembrance

of a state of full functioning – an inner

reliving of a time when the vibrant, robust

capacity energized every cell, no thought of

limitation or restriction imagined.

 

Healing is the essence of life – its own

recapturing of a reflection once enjoyed –

a paradigm gently followed to mend

and smooth and reshape, allowing each

miraculous maneuver to render a clearer

countenance.

 

So, in this, our role is to provide mental

and spiritual support, to fully remember,

in both thought and emotion, the time

before, when all was one and whole,

using the energy of this conception

to fuel the healing work underway,

bolstering its every rendering.

OUR HUMAN, SPIRITUAL EVOLUTION

 

If we, humankind, evolves – we evolve into our

true spiritual capabilities, able to comprehend

the true power and essence of our individual

and joint communal existence, our innate ability

to cocreate our lives, our existence, our destiny –

to use our consciousness to envision an even

greater awareness, a more potent potential

for all of perceived existence.

 

The true nature of intended thought will then

be fathomed, along with the actual intertwining

of human consciousness with even the most

subtle nature of what is experienced, the link

between human intention and the actual

beingness experienced; reality understood

as a joint demonstration of the intentions of

or by the observed.

 

As we evolve, the emergence of our joint human

consciousness, an amalgam of all sentient life

that has existed, exists, or will exist - providing

a compassionate wisdom, brilliance, creative

foundation for the human universal growth and

expansion of connected life throughout the cosmic

domain.

 

Our destiny depends on this essential evolutionary

awakening – this reconnection to our very spiritual

center, to a time where the missteps or learning

of this now, will be understood as a necessary

developmental step; as we understand our true

divine capabilities and natures; arbiters of heaven

on earth and throughout all conscious existence.

I find myself intrigued by the Meditation Guidance

below titled The Mirrored Soul, which indicates

that our authentic self-exists fully formed within

God consciousness, working to guide us towards

the full realization of our potential. If this is

accurate, then it is plausible that we do come into

this world, with a "soul mission" or "calling," that

we must in some way ascertain and somehow reflect

through living.  

 

THE MIRRORED SOUL

 

Within God consciousness resides the divine image

of you, reflected and conceived in perfect oneness –

the divine you, the concept of you in full potential,

the God you, the final and complete design of you –

the sincere soul of pure God identity,  the blueprint,

the model, the destination of authentic purposeful

being.

 

Our divinity – our God self – our atman resides in

the total and universal consciousness of God – fully

aware of the past, actively working with us in the

present, knowledgeable of the potential and

possibilities resulting from present choice points.

 

This divine reflection has and will always exist and

is ever present and active in our lives moving us

through our separation and limited perspective, our

ego desires and indoctrination, towards a connection

with the true potential of our existence. We move

towards and connect with our divine image – our

reflection of perfect life – our God nature through

prayer and deep meditation – through envisioning,

dreaming, and clairvoyance.

 

Work to connect with, and be guided by, your divine

based self within God consciousness, knowing this

is the road to enlightenment – true heaven on earth.

I wonder, at times, if I am in the spiritual

scrap business. Unfurling scraps of insight

I have picked up from my daily collection.

Maybe my blog is actually a scrapbook

of sorts where I arrange my tattered

insights into conceptual frameworks

to share with those who, like me, are also

in the spiritual scrap business.    

  

SCRAPS OF INSIGHT

 

We the seekers who wish to understand,

who strive to unfurl the mystery of being –

divine being - who wander the fields

of consciousness collecting scraps of meaning,

ordering and reordering in our attempts

to recognize the premise, the purpose,

the essential essence.

 

We proceed with faith, with hope,

glimpsing at times the outline, straining

to perceive the content; in quiet desperation

we arrange our tattered insights into concepts,

precepts, dogmas, even religions – unsure

of our path, yet so certain of our mission.

For the past few days, I have been thinking

about patience. Possibly, it is my inner guidance

reminding me that I need patience as I work

through the incredible journey of writing and

publishing a book like Finding God On The Train. 

 

So I decided this morning I would publish

a note that addressed patience. I picked 

a journal at random, and I came up with this

meditation guidance below titled simply, and

I would say appropriately, Patience.  

 

PATIENCE

 

Have patience and let God work through your life.

Have patience and allow what is meant to happen,

to actually happen. Relax and wait without anxiety,

frustration, or anger. Open your mind to recovering

the full joy of the day and your existence.

 

Have patience, for patience reveals and affirms your

faith and belief in God. Your fear and apprehension

display a lack of trust in the divine order of life. Lack

of patience causes you to take missteps and create

anxiety and ill will.

 

Lack of patience is disguised unbelief – it is not

letting God do the work that is necessary and right.

You want immediate action – immediate results -

but this is not possible.  Moving events quicker or

out of sequence is impossible.

 

You need to focus on the positive outcome that

you wish to appear, the solutions you request.

Vision or envision the solution you wish with

a force of strong emotion and it will be cocreated –

in time - within the flow of expectation.

 

Be patient, pray, meditate, and relax into

your faith in God.
