CLAIMING PEACE
Let us go within and claim our peace
that has always existed waiting for us
to discover it by switching off the chatter
of our minds and accepting that peace
is the natural state of God’s world.
Let us go within and claim our peace
by refusing to allow our egos to focus
on the missteps of the past or the potential
lack of the future - replacing both instead
with the serenity of this moment now –
fresh – alive – unencumbered.
Let us go within and claim our peace
by centering ourselves and returning
to the protective nature of God’s love
for us and the divine nature that is
within us saying:
“I am the center of peace in the world.”
