Yesterday in my post titled Not What We Intended  I mentioned my 

medical issues and posted an Affirmative Thought that addressed

the issue of healing and resetting our minds for health and wellness.

No sooner had I published this post than my wife called and told

me she had spoken with her doctor and would have to undergo

surgery on a precancerous tumor in her colon. Although grateful

for the chance to circumvent the possibility of cancer, we both find

ourselves again refocused on how to best deal with health issues

when they elbow their way into our lives. 

 

I realize that I am not ready to let go of the spirtual implications

of wellness just yet, so bare with me. Is wellness beyond our control

or is it improved or hampered by our life issues? I am not sure, but

what I do know is that there is a wonderful spiritual guide who lived

and provided guidance on  how to heal ourselves and others through

right thinking and belief.  I offer the Affirmative note below wrote

this morning for all of us who may find ourselves in need of  a more

spiritual approach to wellness. 

 

      WHOLENESS, WELLNESS, ONENESS

 

Today push away any thoughts of  fear, lack, or

doubt and see only wholeness, wellness, and

oneness flowing through you, from you,

and surrounding you with the essence and

protection of God’s love.

 

Today ponder only the healing power of Christ –

conceived in faith – restoring all who fully

believe in the soothing waters of God’s grace –

let them wash over you cleaning away the

possibility of  imperfection where none exists.

 

Today know within your heart, soul, and mind

that Christ is with you, hands outstretched

in a blessing so profound it realigns all

existence, clears away all confusion, and

makes you one and whole forever.

There are times when no matter how hard we try life does

not turn out as we would have wished. For me these issues

have been health related recently. I have been experiencing

bouts of dizziness and headaches which has prompted the

surgeon who performed the removal of my Pituitary Tumor

two years ago to order an MRI for fear the tumor has now

possibly grown back.

 

As I wait for Thursday when the MRI is scheduled,  I have 

to fight my mind's worse case scenario machine and my ego

screaming loudly to God and anyone who will listen -"Come on

man, what did I do to deserve this, again." Added to this is

the challenge of living within a  New Thought perspective and

knowing  I will have to eventually confront what needs to be

addressed and  resolved inwardly to get beyond this and stop

it from reappearing in my life. And although I can point to the

positive life changing aspects of each of the three major

surgeries I have had in the past four plus years, I would gladly

submit to an alternative learning method. 

 

I share my personal situation along with the Affirmative

Thought I wrote below for me and anyone who may be

waking this morning to life events they would also rather

exist without. Hope it helps. 

 

  NOT WHAT WE INTENDED

 

At times when life is not what

we would wish or had intended –

it is exactly at this time we must

look beyond the physical condition –

journey into our fears and find

the lesson or the resolution.

 

At times when the light seems

dimmest and hope appears futile

we must breathe deeply allowing

our soul to respond to enable us,

to give us strength to continue

knowing magnificence awaits.

 

At times when why appears to be

the only logical question we must

search for motive, the cause, and

clear away the misconception

we have mistaken as truth.

 

At this time we must believe.

Within us now is all the wisdom we seek –

all the compassion possible to feel –

all the wonder anyone could wish

to experience – all the magic waiting

to be performed – every miracle  

bursting forth into life.

 

Within us now is all eternity –

the past,  the present, the future –

the potential moment – the vision

of heaven on earth – the suffering

with its lessons waiting to be revealed –

our soul – our God – our magnificence.

 

Within us now is all existence flexing

its creative muscles – urging us on

to our purpose our destiny –

saying yes even when we say no –

cajoling us forward with arms outstretched

to catch us with each tentative step

we harness the courage to take.

Today let us rest and listen to the wind sing –

watch as the lingering leaves of fall hold fast

to their trees - dry and brittle but still wishing

to live on – smell the crisp air of winter coming

startling our checks as we search for our pockets

to protect our hands.

 

Today let us rest and realize all our doing

is but a diversion from true reflection –

that meaning is not worked into but found

in quiet moments spent in the watching

of life unfold.

 

Today let us rest allowing the unused minutes

to expand into hours and the afternoon become

an eternity – content in our meandering.

thank God who exists within every

piece and particle of this world –

this life we live – forming our words –

orchestrating our experience –

gently encouraging us towards

our full potential.

declare our thanks to the creative

force for good in the world –

the originator of our feast –

the host who has brought us to

this table to share this bounty

only asking us to be a force for

love in return.

praying for balance, for peace,

On this day before Thanksgiving, the swarming

I referred to in my previous posts continues on

the subject of  Chapter Twelve - The Soul and

God Consciousness - Divinity Within. The more

I delve into the topic of this divinity or God within

us, and understand the message I have  recently

received on this topic, I understand that our true

creative and life power emanates from this divine 

source or spark. 

 

It is our spiritual job to understand it, tap into

it,  using it for our own benefit and the benefit

of humankind. This is clearly conveyed in the

Poem, the Affirmative Thought, and the Meditation

 Guidance I have included in this post today.

 

Notice how the same  message is echoed in

each of the three offerings, along with some

helpful hints on how we might harness the

power.

 

         THE SEED OF GOD

 

The seed of God is within you

feed it, water it, allow it to take root –

provide the fertile soil for it to flourish

and become, be revealed, to sprout

its divine blooms of life.

This is the creative force - powerful,

purposeful, but dependent on your energy,

vitality, and reception to perform

its magic, its miracles.

Provide it a clear unencumbered mind

free of doubt, worry, or fear.

Provide it with the total force of your will

and watch it grow into your heaven on earth.

Be the fertile soil!

 

Poem 11.22.11

 

        GOD’S POWER IN YOUR LIFE

 

Today breathe freely without concern

or apprehension as you accept with faith

the true nature of God’s power in your life –

allow the seed of God within you to flourish

by providing it with the fertile soil of

fearless belief.

 

Today breathe freely in comfort and

protection knowing all is well as long

as you will it, accept it, and prepare

the way through vibrant belief  knowing

God  - with your assistance and cooperation -

has you shielded from conflict –enveloped

and protected by divine love and infinite

compassion.

 

Today breathe freely allowing the breath

of divine confidence to fill your soul with

courage, fortitude, and the conviction of

perfect life alive always moving in the

direction of your greater good.

Breathe freely today!

                                 GOD POWER

 

Unleash the God power of your soul  - within exists

the power to move with  universal consciousness

and to move throughout the external world connected –

a force of unfathomable strength, compassion, and

creativity – a God force beyond conception – a living

spirit of God force in the world.

 

Touch this God force through deep meditation

exploring the workings of your local consciousness

as you move within the portal of total consciousness

connecting with the infinite souls existing – the infinite

gateway to all existence – connect with the creative

power and envision and bring form to a universe of

your design.

 

Move within through meditation three times per day

until you can exist within without thought. There are

many levels of heightened internal awareness –

take the journey and find within your indwelling God –

your God center waiting to be cracked open, revealed

and fully lived. See the images of the souls within –

the infinite soul spirits – commune with them, seek

advice, and allow them to assist in your efforts.

Take notes – journal your becoming – experiment –

test and see the realities of God power today.

As  I mentioned in my last post,  I am now preparing

to write Chapter Twelve titled, at least for now, The

Soul and God Consciousness - Divinity Within.

 

The first eleven chapters of Finding God On The Train

have taught me how to best approach the empty page

appearing on  the screen before me. By utilizing what

I have come to term as a swarming approach, I go out

and beat the bushes of consciousness  reviewing 

everything I have ever thought, read, overheard, or

written hoping to generate a swarm of ideas around

the concept or subject until the tumult of buzzing

thoughts lead to a way of viewing the subject that

is new and by chance even enlightening.

 

This technique has enabled me to learn and grow as

I write and in the end to discover  a finished product 

that I had no inkling existed when I began. So let's

begin the swarm with the meditation guidance below

titled The Power Of God  Consciousness. I transcribed 

this on a sunny Sunday morning in August while

meditating on my deck and since I did not have my

journal with me I just jotted it down on a sheet of blank

paper which I had intended to write in my journal but

never got around to it.

 

I like this note because it clearly outlines our individual

conscious connection with universal  consciousness.

Our divine consciousness being a functioning subset of

this God consciousness.  

 

THE POWER OF UNIVERSAL CONSCIOUSNESS

 

God is Universal Consciousness.

I am Universal Consciousness.

We are Universal Consciousness.

 

Everything starts and finishes with the power

of universal consciousness formed of all the

consciousness of each piece of sentient life alive

or that has ever lived. Your consciousness is a

connected subset of the universal - a contributor

and emissary – the hands and feet of this conscious

creation known as life.

 

When you mediate and move behind your egos

longings, indoctrination, conditioned thought

patterns, and the chaotic chatter of a mind yet

fully trained to move beyond the misconception

of  separate existence, you connect with the

consciousness of God – call it what you wish

universal, infinite – call it mind, intelligence,

or consciousness – it is within this purposeful

vehicle of creation that you are connected with,

submerged in, surrounded by and one with God.

Here is the essence of positive creation.

 

Your task is to train your mind to live in harmony

with this connection, realize its existence , and stay

connected allowing it to fully live with you and

co-create with you. At this point you will realize

the power of connected existence and move on

with others to re-conceive this world – as one –

the next step in the evolution of  consciousness.

This is the divine plan, the inheritance of collective

conscious will evolving – becoming – pushing forward –

expanding the potential of all consciousness.

After a review of the briefer Affirmative Thoughts

I write each day, I realized that this topic of the divine

self, soul, or God within has been a frequent muse

over the years with more than thirty notes addressing

his subject. I would like to review these notes in my 

blog posts as part of this swarming approach. In the

note below the  heart within is your soul or divine

self that may just carry the answers you are seeking. 

 

 WITHIN YOUR HEART

 

The answer you seek is not to be found

in the world but within your heart,  your soul,

your divine self  - moving into position to thrive

and blossom – to come to full life after waiting 

patiently for so long.

 

The answer you seek is ready to be revealed

and waiting for you to be ready to receive –

to have the strength to shake off your fears

and walk into the light of its solution where

all you have sought waits for you to arrive.

 

The answer you seek when reveled and acted

upon will clear your mind of confusion,

energize your passions, and enable you to

live as you again.

Having spent much of year writing Chapter Ten

and Eleven of Finding God On The Train - The Book,

focused on clearing our minds and establishing

a level playing field through Mind Control  - Control  

of Consciousness, it is now time for me to proceed

to the next stop on our spiritual train commute, 

and continue outlining the message from God I am

working to convey on this blog and within the book.

 

With our mind chatter, our egos, our fears, our

worries, and  our  doubts  in check,  we venture 

deeper into our conscious, subconscious, and 

unconscious minds to comprehend our divinity,

our soul,  and its connection to  the Universal

Consciousness of God. We will also explore what

this entails and how its shapes our lives. The draft

title of Chapter Twelve is - The Soul and God 

Consciousness - The Divinity Within.

 

I would like to start  with an Affirmative Thought

titled True Spiritual Power, which is a good opener

for this  discussion. Along with this, I would like to

feature the  Meditation Note below titled Divine Force

Within  I transcribed this morning after asking God

for more  direction on this subject. As I scope out the

key points of Chapter Twelve I will share my muses

in my daily blog posts.  

 

TRUE SPIRITUAL POWER

 

Today return to your true spiritual

power and the ability to tap the

God within you – the divinity waiting

to evolve you and transform you into

a work of art – inspired art capable

of molding, creating, and shaping

the world.

 

Today return to your true spiritual

connection – a connection with the

consciousness of God – the living

spirit of God always teamed with all

who have ever carried the banner

of God’s power in the world –with 

every spiritual leader who has ever

existed, waiting to guide you to a

better life.

 

Today return to your true intentions –

your inspired intentions and know

you have the power to bring them

to life – give them form and create

a life worth living – a thriving life –

a vibrant life – your perfect life.

THE DIVINE FORCE WITHIN

 

The divine within you waits for your arrival,

for your awareness to catch–up, to wake up

to your true essence and potential. You are the

existence of God made manifest in physical form –

always with you - always waiting for you to

discover the full potential of your divine essence.

 

The journey you need to take and master is the

journey within  - allowing you to connect with

your God nature and the universal consciousness

of God. God is not out there somewhere, but inside

of you through connected consciousness – for how

would an omnipresent God not be present as an

essential part of each and every sentient life form.

 

As a leading edge God presence -  it is your

responsibility to understand, nurture, and inspire

this force for creative, constructive, and pure good

in the world. Move through the portal of consciousness

and discover enormous and infinite possibilities for

this life you have chosen to inhabit and live.

 

It is your choice as to how you use and reflect

this God force in the world – but by tapping into

this soul or spiritual center, you will uncover and

discover your authentic purpose, manifesting

it into your life, as you move in the direction

of full cocreation with God.

 

Dive into your essence and discover the treasure 

within – your crystal heart.

Today let us practice patience

by accepting delay, incompetence

incompleteness or any situation

where we expect more but get less

than we are sure we are warranted

or deserve – reacting to these

situations instead with acceptance,

non-resistance, and faith.

 

Today let us practice patience by

stepping back, pausing, taking a deep

breath and reaching for our calm as

we let events unfold as they will without

stress, anxiety, bitterness, criticism, or

angst  - instead let us mimic God’s divine

patience with us as we have struggled

to find our way.

 

Today let us practice patience with

ourselves – our own progress and

unfolding – our own preconceived notion

of what we should heave accomplished,

or acquired or become by now  - and instead

smile thinking – “ I am sure all things will

work out as planned or destined.”
